In the beginning was Infinity.
Men and women could not comprehend
infinity.
So within their imaginations
they invented the "box."
The box divided night and day.
Eventually, night and day were
divided into
Days, hours, minutes.
They needed more boxes.
The divisions of Infinity became
commodities.
Time was given value, thus bought
and sold,
Not as a commodity in itself,
But as compensation for people
to do things
They would not ordinarily do
At the times other people wanted
them done.
They needed more and more boxes...
...and more
....and more.
Men and women imagined beginnings
and endings
But not Infinity.
This was the first paradox.
